In 1902, Clarence George Bostwick founded our company and throughout the early part of the 1900's installed new roofs on buildings at Yale University, Vassar College, Wesleyan University, Loomis Chaffee School as well as churches, libraries and private residences. In this century the scope of our work is the same, and more. We still do the same kind of institutional work. We are still installing new slate roofs, flat roofing has changed, waterproofing has improved, new construction is ever changing, and the buildings we roofed years ago now require our expertise in restoration to keep them looking as beautiful today as they did when they were new. Our quality craftsmanship extends from slate and tile roofing, flat roofing, and copper roofing to rain carrying systems, snowguards, and ornamental metal work. At C.G. Bostwick we have succeeded for over 100 years because we pay attention to all aspects of the roofing business. We understand our customer's needs for professional service including a timely response, thorough diagnosis and planning, effective communication and accurate billing from a well managed company. |
