PRIVATE SCHOOLS & INSTITUTIONS
Roofs That Stand the Test of Time
Take a stroll through the lush Trinity College campus in
Hartford, Connecticut or through an art gallery at one of St. Joseph
College’s newest buildings on its West Hartford, Connecticut campus.
Both are sites where you can view the work of the C.G. Bostwick
Company.
Since our founding in 1902, we have been known for the work we’ve
done on some of the most beautiful school buildings in New England.
In the early 1900s, we installed roofs at Yale University, Vassar
College, Wesleyan University and Loomis Chaffee School, as well as
numerous libraries.
Over the years, we’ve kept pace with the industry, becoming expert
in new techniques and materials and today continue to be a sought
after roofing contractor for installation, maintenance and
restoration for educational institutions. Trinity College contracts
with us to assist with the maintenance of its 80 building roofs. St.
Joseph’s College hired us to work on two new buildings which were
completed in 2000. On one building, its Center for Arts and
Humanities that houses a 350-seat auditorium, five art galleries,
classrooms and faculty offices, we installed a combination of slate
roofing, pre-finished metal roofing, modified-bitumen roofing and
architectural sheet metal.
We pride ourselves on our attention to all aspects of the roofing
business—including keeping abreast of changes in flat roofing,
waterproofing and ever-evolving new construction—understanding our
customers’ needs and delivering in a timely, professional manner.
With C.G. Bostwick Company, you’ll receive accurate diagnosis and
planning, effective communication and accurate billing.
